After researching the Cath Kidston brand, and formulating a couple of considerable concepts, I wanted to look at the use of colour within the brand, before any design work is done. This was to understand the brand and the colour palettes used to reflect their audience and tone of voice - vintage, cheeky, fun, British. These will help me when designing for the brand and coming up with my own colour palette being inspired by the previous colour schemes used.

In colour psychology terms Cath Kidston is pure Spring. Fun, creative, warm, inspiring and young. It’s about adding a splash of colour and vintage charm to your day.
