COLLABORATIVE - BRIEF SELECTION

Eastpak - YCN:

Pros:

Social Media, Apps, Web Design.

Cons:

3 different target audiences - not very specific.
Very dry brief.

Digital Cinema Media - D&AD:

Pros:

No specific target audience- quite open for response.
Ambitious/Creative - Unusual brief compared to those worked on in the past.
Unusual, interesting, visually exciting.
Challenging - Learn new skills.

Cons:

Unsure how to work film editing software to a high quality level.
No meaning behind it - no purpose or literal engagement.
Copyright issues - music -  could be hard to source copyright free music which is appropriate.
Main deliverable - Video.
Target Audience is wide.
How can I fill 5 A2 boards with a video? (25 seconds)

WWP - D&AD:

Pros:

More variation and scope to the brief. 
More interesting and diverse issues to deal with.
Could be expanded - print and web.
Al Gore gets to see our work - Top Guy!
Versatile design - to be applied to different medias. 

Cons:

Serious, important topic - tone needs to be considered. 
Format to be considered.
May not appeal to younger audiences - may not been seen as important to some.
Choice of language.
