Following the confirmation of our idea, David and I obtained the branding guidelines from the marketing department, and started working on pixelated versions of icons, allowing each to be filled with pixels, opacities and imagery reflecting each different course.

For experimentation purposes, the colour swatches from the college brand guidelines can be seen below, along with the initial ideas for type and iconography, allowing us to be apart of the 'bigger picture' which is seen unclose below, adding to the depth of context and the idea.
